Vehicle Repair

When the vehicle is passed to the panel beaters the flow sheet will first be checked to see that it has been signed off at the previous stage. This same check will be done at every stage of the repair revealing who has done what throughout the repair process. The vehicle will be assessed as to what requires repair or renewal as per the job card.

Depending upon the extent of the damage, The length of time required for the repair will vary. The more seriously damaged vehicles may require chassis straightening using one of our vehicle alignment jigs and checking with our Pro Align measuring system. All chassis and steering points are checked to manufacturers figures of which we have details of every make and model of car.

Repairs will be carried out using the latest tools and working to Thatcham Approved practices. Again at the end of this part of the repair the work will be signed off by a supervisor and any part of the repair not up to standard will be recorded on a snag sheet and the fault will be rectified before moving on to the next stage.
